2025 IMPACT REPORT

A LETTER FROM US...
MODERNBEAST began with a simple idea. Create beautiful, thoughtful pet products that felt at home in our own spaces, pieces you would proudly leave out rather than tuck away when guests arrived.
What started as a design intention quickly became something deeper. As we built this brand, our commitment to animals and their wellbeing grew alongside it. Giving back is not something we added later. It is woven into who we are and how we create.
This past year has reminded us of the power of care, community, and collective action. Every rescue, every transport, every donation reflects our belief that good design can also do good in the world.
We are grateful to be on this journey with you and proud to share our 2025 accomplishments within the animal welfare community.
With gratitude,
GIVING BACK
LOS ANGELES WILD FIRES
2025 began in Los Angeles with unimaginable wildfires that brought devastation to neighborhoods, families, and the land itself. Los Angeles is more than where MODERNBEAST was founded. It is our home. Witnessing the impact on our community, including so many beloved pets and the people who care for them, was heartbreaking.
With the support of our customers, partners, and community, we moved quickly to help during those critical early months. Below are some of the ways we came together to support pets and their families in the aftermath of the fires.
PET PRODUCT PANTRY
In the wake of the fires, we transformed the ground floor of our MODERNBEAST Marina del Rey office into a free Pet Product Pantry for families and animals displaced from their homes. Stocked with essential supplies including food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, crates, bedding, and other necessities, the pantry became a space of care and support. We also opened our doors to new fosters, adopters, and fellow rescues in need of supplies.

HELPING PAWS COMMUNITY EVENTS
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HIT LIVING FOUNDATION
In partnership with HIT Living Foundation, we hosted two Helping Paws events designed to care for both pets and the people who love them. Rooted in dignity and accessibility, these gatherings created a welcoming space where families could receive essential support without cost or judgment, reinforcing our belief that community care is most powerful when it is shared.
At each event, we offered free grooming services, veterinary wellness exams, core vaccinations, and microchipping to help keep pets healthy, safe, and identifiable. In addition, families were able to access free supplies from our Pet Product Pantry, including food, treats, and basic necessities.
Recognizing that care extends beyond animals alone, we also provided complimentary meals for human attendees so that no one had to choose between feeding themselves and their pets.
Together with HIT Living Foundation, local veterinarians, and volunteer groomers, we created moments of relief, connection, and support for families navigating difficult circumstances, strengthening the bond between people and their pets while building a more resilient community.
Dr. Lisa Newell from Malibu Coast Animal Hospital graciously provided her veterinary services free of charge for both events.
