At MODERNBEAST we design products that celebrate the special bond between you and your beast, and we hope every purchase brings joy and comfort. We also know that returns can be confusing and costly for a small business, so we’ve built a return policy that’s easy to understand and fair for everyone. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, eligibility, and timelines so you can shop with confidence and clarity.!  We've partnered with various platforms to make wholesale purchasing from us simple and easy.  Please use the direct links below based on your location.

SHIPPING

Orders will be processed and shipped within 3 – 5 business days. MODERNBEAST does not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays. In the event the item you purchased is out of stock, we will notify you via email with an expected re-stock date. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee. The availability and fulfillment of expedited shipping depends on the destination and time the order is placed. Please contact hello@modernbeast.com if you wish to expedite shipping.

Continental US order are shipped via USPS or UPS. We suggest a physical address be used for shipping. Depending on location, orders will arrive between 5 – 10 business days from ship date. Holiday shipping times may increase.

International orders ship via USPS. Depending on location, international orders will arrive between 15 – 30 business days. Modern Beast is not responsible for additional taxes or duties when entering your country of residence.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We want you and your beast to love your purchase. At the same time, returns are costly and labor intensive for a small business, especially when items are used or cannot be resold. This policy is designed to be clear and fair while protecting our team and inventory. By placing an order with MODERNBEAST, you agree to the policy outlined below.

Return Window: Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, store credit, or exchange, minus applicable fees. Returns must be initiated within this window.Returns received after 30 days but before 60 days of delivery may be eligible for store credit only, at our discretion.  Items received after 60 days are not eligible for return and may be donated or discarded. Dog beds, carriers, apparel, harnesses, and any product that has been used or cannot be resold are not eligible for refunds. These items may be eligible for store credit or exchange only, at our discretion.Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on all approved returns, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.

Condition Requirements: All returns must be unused, unwashed, and free of pet hair, odor, stains, or damage. Items must include all original tags, accessories, and packaging and must arrive in resellable condition.Items returned with signs of use, wear, washing, damage, or missing components may be rejected or issued store credit only, less any cleaning, handling, or disposal costs. Items showing clear use, including dog beds with hair or odor or carriers with scratches or wear, are not eligible for refunds.

Restocking and Processing Fees: A 15% restocking fee will be applied to beds and carriers approved for a refund. This fee covers inspection, cleaning, and repackaging costs. Restocking fees are waived for exchanges of equal value. Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are non refundable unless the item is defective or sent in error.

How to Return: To request a return, email hello@modernbeast.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, you will receive return authorization and instructions. Items must be shipped back within seven days of authorization using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or our error. Returns sent without authorization may be denied. Defective or Incorrect ItemsIf your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within seven days of delivery with photos. We will cover return shipping and provide a replacement, refund, or store credit.

Final Sale Items: Sale items, gift cards, and limited edition collection products are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange or refund. If an order includes tiered or promotional pricing, approved refunds will be adjusted accordingly.

International Orders: International orders are not eligible for refunds. Store credit or exchanges may be offered at our discretion. Return shipping is always the responsibility of the customer.

Exchanges and Store Credit: 
Exchanges are encouraged and do not incur a restocking fee. Store credit never expires and may be used toward future purchases.

If you received an item as a gift, we hope you love it! In the event you are unsatisfied, simply email hello@modernbeast.com and we will be happy to process an exchange. Please note your item was a gift and we will be happy to help you find the perfect product for your little (or big) beast.

Exchanged items must be unused and in the same condition you received it. All MODERNBEAST tags must be attached. Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges on gift cards or damaged items. Once your exchange is received, we will process your new order within 5 business days. You will be notified via email once your new items have shipped.
