During her years as a television journalist, Kacey covered countless stories involving shelters, rescues, and animal welfare organizations. Again and again she saw dedicated people working tirelessly to save animals already in crisis.
At the same time, one reality became impossible to ignore. Too many animals were entering shelters in the first place. She realized that lasting change required addressing the root cause rather than only responding to the outcome.
That realization led to the creation of Fix'n Fidos.
