New Year's Resolutions for You & Your Beast
Let’s face it - New Year’s resolutions are hard to stick to! Why not take the challenge head on with your best beast? Below are some of our team’s 2022 New Year’s resolutions.
Self-Care
2020 was rough… and so was 2021. Let’s make 2022 the year of self-care! Plan a weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly spa day for you and your beast! Pull your beast's bed into the bathroom, run a hot bath (for yourself), light a candle, and relax. This way you and your furry friend can get some much deserved R&R, while still spending time together!
Creating a safe space in your bathroom that doesn’t involve water is a good idea if your pet isn’t a fan of bath time. We suggest putting their bed away from the bath/shower, adding a Lavender filled toy, and giving them treats to make them feel comfortable!

Daily Walks
Another year, another wasted resolution to be more active. Well, not this year! Set a schedule for you and your beast and stick to it. Morning person? Head on a morning walk, coffee in hand, with your pup before work. Night Owl? Grab your flashlight, your beast, and head out on an adventure.

Covid has made it easy to stay at home with your beast, but that doesn’t mean you should be anti-social! New year, new opportunity to make friends. Want to find a new dog park or dog-friendly beach? We recommend using this sitemap from BringFido. Have a new puppy or adopted pup? Start slow and invite a new friend and their pup over to socialize.

Learn New Recipes
It’s never a bad idea to eat healthy, and that can apply to your beast as well! Home cooked meals (& treats) are typically healthier than store bought. Stock up on dog friendly ingredients that can be used for your own meals too! We’ve had luck with pumpkin, spinach, or chia seeds.
