A PURPOSEFUL RESCUE

For our second quarter, we are proud to support A Purposeful Rescue in Los Angeles, California.

A Purposeful Rescue is more than a dog rescue. It is a community dedicated to giving overlooked shelter dogs the time, care, and understanding they need to thrive.Through rescue, foster care, adoption, and community outreach, A Purposeful Rescue works tirelessly to save dogs who might otherwise be passed over. Many of these dogs are affectionately called their “magical unicorns” because with the right support and patience, they become extraordinary companions.

Our connection to A Purposeful Rescue is personal. Our founder adopted Olive from APR several years ago, and she has since become a familiar face in many MODERNBEAST moments.We are honored to celebrate this partnership through our Round Up program and the launch of a special Unicorn Wool Toy, inspired by the magical unicorn dogs that make A Purposeful Rescue so special.

Together, we can help more dogs find the loving homes they deserve.

TO GIVE

We’ll save the birthing details (long days, nights, weekends, wine and whiskey) because it all became fuel for the MODERNBEAST mission. 

A) Design and create contemporary, high quality toys, apparel and home goods for dogs and cats with a refined sense of adventure. 

B) Manufacture our products using only the highest quality materials available. While we work to manufacture our entire line in Southern California, a selection of our wool products are hand felted in Nepal.

C) Give back 100% of profits to 501c3 animal charities.

We designed the MODERNBEAST give back as simply as possible. After the costs of doing business (paying employees, suppliers, manufacturers, shipping, rents, etc.) the profits, 100% of it, is given to 501c3 animal charities. 

MAGICAL UNICORNS

To celebrate our Round Up partnership with A Purposeful Rescue, we’ve created a limited-edition MAGICAL UNICORN WOOL TOY, inspired by the dogs they lovingly call their “magical unicorns.”

Magical unicorns are amazing dogs who, for one reason or another, have simply been overlooked at crowded shelters. They might be shy, unsure in a stressful shelter environment, or need a little extra care. Because of this, they’re often passed by, quietly waiting for someone to see the wonderful companion they can become.

A Purposeful Rescue is dedicated to giving these special dogs the second chances they deserve. Once out of the shelter and into loving foster or forever homes, these magical unicorns reveal their true personalities and grow into happy, loyal companions.

Handcrafted from 100% natural wool, our MAGICAL UNICORN WOOL TOY celebrates these extraordinary dogs while supporting the lifesaving work of A Purposeful Rescue. Each toy is a reminder that sometimes the most overlooked animals turn out to be the most magical of all.
