Joey is a small dog with a big personality and heart! He was only born with two legs so he's had to overcome some obstacles, but nothing seems to stop him. His love of life makes everyone around him smile. Joey is showing everyone that his disability doesn't stop him!
Writer Kristen Peralta is the Executive Director of Vintage Pet Rescue, a retirement home for senior dogs in Rhode Island. Vintage Pet Rescue was founded in 2017 and since then they have rescued over 600 senior and special needs dogs. Kristen lives with her husband, Marc, and 25 senior dogs in Rhode Island.
