Los Angeles is more than just where MODERNBEAST was founded—it’s our home. The devastation caused by the LA wildfires is heartbreaking, and we are committed to continually supporting our local pet community.

As a brand deeply rooted in this city, we stand with our community during this challenging time. In the face of loss, we have been inspired by the unwavering generosity and resilience of our fellow Angelenos—neighbors helping neighbors and countless individuals coming together to support animals in need.

At MODERNBEAST, we’re focusing on what we do best: helping pets and the people who love them. With your support, we’ve already made a meaningful impact, but our work is far from over. We remain dedicated to standing by our community for as long as it takes.

MODERNBEAST ANIMAL RESCUE FUND

We are proud to partner with Dog Is My Co-Pilot to provide a lifeline for pets in need. Through our newly established relief fund, we are raising critical funds to sponsor transport flights from Los Angeles to safe havens in Idaho and beyond. Our first flight, scheduled for this Friday, will carry dogs organized by Bissel Pet Foundation & Canine Rescue Club, giving them a second chance at the love and security they deserve.

But this is just the beginning. With your generosity, we can continue to sponsor more flights, ensuring that displaced and at-risk pets find the safety and care they so urgently need. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact on their journey to a brighter future.

PET PRODUCT PANTRY

To support families and pets displaced by the fires, we have created a free Pet Product Pantry stocked with essential pet supplies, including food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, crates, and more. We also welcome new fosters, adopters, and fellow rescues in need of supplies.

Hours: Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sunday: By Appointment (text or call 310-721-7641)

We are also still accepting donations. Currently, we are running low on:

Small bags of dog & cat food
Cat litter
Canned cat food
Small & medium travel crates
Flea & tick medications

FREE PET RECOVERY KITS

We understand that pets are family, and in times of crisis, they need care and comfort just as much as we do. As displaced families begin to settle into new homes, we are offering free Pet Recovery Kits to help pets feel safe and secure during this transition.

Each Pet Recovery Kit includes:

A dog bowl for food and water
A leash and either a harness or collar for safety
A comforting toy for joy and distraction
Treats to lift their spirits
Shampoo, paw balm, or cleaning wipes
Miscellaneous essentials tailored to their need

Kits are distributed on a random basis and contents may vary depending on availability. Our goal is to provide comfort and support to as many pets as possible, as quickly as we can.

If your pet has been displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires, we invite you to reach out at hello@modernbeast.com we will ship kits free of charge. No pet should face these challenges alone, and we are here to help ease the burden for both you and your furry family member.
