For our third quarter, we are proud to support Fix'n Fidos. Fix'n Fidos is dedicated to keeping pets out of shelters through affordable spay and neuter programs, veterinary assistance, and community education.

Their work focuses on prevention, one of the most effective ways to reduce pet overpopulation and create lasting change for animals and the communities they call home. By making essential veterinary care more accessible, Fix'n Fidos helps families keep their pets healthy, together, and out of shelters.

Founded by Emmy Award winning journalist and animal advocate Kacey Montoya, Fix'n Fidos is built on the belief that every family deserves access to affordable veterinary care. Kacey's lifelong commitment to animal welfare has helped create a compassionate organization that is making a meaningful difference for pets every day.

Together, we can help create a future with fewer homeless animals and more pets living safe, healthy lives.

TO GIVE

We’ll save the birthing details (long days, nights, weekends, wine and whiskey) because it all became fuel for the MODERNBEAST mission. 

A) Design and create contemporary, high quality toys, apparel and home goods for dogs and cats with a refined sense of adventure. 

B) Manufacture our products using only the highest quality materials available. While we work to manufacture our entire line in Southern California, a selection of our wool products are hand felted in Nepal.

C) Give back 100% of profits to 501c3 animal charities.

We designed the MODERNBEAST give back as simply as possible. After the costs of doing business (paying employees, suppliers, manufacturers, shipping, rents, etc.) the profits, 100% of it, is given to 501c3 animal charities. 

SPAY/NEUTER CHIHUAHUA from Fix'n Fidos

To celebrate our Round Up partnership with Fix'n Fidos, we've created a limited-edition SPAY/NEUTER CHIHUAHUA.

Inspired by the founder's beloved Chihuahuas, this handcrafted toy features a small blue line, a symbol commonly used by veterinarians to indicate a dog has been spayed or neutered. That small blue line represents something much bigger: prevention. Every spay and neuter procedure helps reduce pet overpopulation, decreases shelter intake, and creates better outcomes for animals and communities.

Handcrafted from 100% natural wool, our SPAY/NEUTER CHIHUAHUA from Fix'n Fidos celebrates the lifesaving impact of preventative care while helping raise awareness for the important work Fix'n Fidos does every day. Each toy serves as a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful change begins with prevention.
